Previously set for release in December 2012 alongside a number of highly anticipated films like Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln (starring the towering Daniel Day Lewis and many others) and Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti Western Django Unchained (which also features an A-list cast including Leonardo DiCaprio in a villainous role), Man of Steel (2013) has been moved to June 14, 2013. Reports indicate that the script by David Goyer, Kurt Johnstad and Jonathan Nolan (as well as edits by Christopher Nolan) needed some refinement, and the production wouldn’t be completed in time for the Christmas 2012 release date.
